Future Crimes Division Officer

A background functionary of New New York's futuristic justice system, this officer exists mainly to enforce whatever absurd law the plot requires. He appears briefly, delivers his lines with bureaucratic flatness, and treats the show's outlandish crimes as routine paperwork rather than anything worth marveling at.

Billy West, already voicing several of the show's leads, slips into this small role with the same deadpan commitment he brings everywhere else, finding dry comedy in a nothing part. The joke isn't the character himself but the show's habit of staffing its wildest future with the most bored, ordinary civil servants imaginable.
