Fry 1

A duplicate born from Fry's own tangled trips through time, Fry 1 is what happens when the universe's least reliable delivery boy starts looping through history. He carries all of Fry's dopey optimism and scattered focus, dropped into a situation even he can't quite follow, doing his best to muddle through anyway.

Billy West's genius is that every version of Fry sounds exactly the same — guileless, a little slow on the uptake, endlessly good-natured — so the joke becomes the absurd math of time travel itself rather than the character. Fry 1 works because the show trusts you to find a paradox funnier than an explanation.
