French Man

A minor stock figure who turns up for a scene or two, all Gallic shrug and exaggerated accent, ready to deliver a punchline or a bit of local color before vanishing back into the background of New New York's crowd of oddballs.

John DiMaggio, already doing heavy lifting as Bender elsewhere in the show, tosses off the accent and attitude with the kind of throwaway commitment that makes even a one-scene stereotype land a laugh rather than just occupy space.
