Franky Franklin

Franky Franklin is an information broker and gadget man who owes Loid Forger favors and keeps supplying him with surveillance tech, forged documents, and gossip from Ostania's underworld. Scruffy and perpetually unlucky in love, he talks fast, dreams big about getting a girlfriend, and clearly enjoys being useful to a spy far cooler than himself.

He's the show's pressure valve: whenever the espionage plot threatens to get too tense, Franky shows up fumbling a gadget demo or mooning over a woman who wants nothing to do with him. Yoshino plays him with an eager, slightly desperate energy that turns comic relief into genuine warmth, especially in his lopsided, loyal friendship with Loid.
