Franklin D. Roosevelt's Head

In the year 3000, Franklin D. Roosevelt survives as a disembodied head bobbing in a glass jar, one of several ex-presidents who still convene to run the country's ceremonial affairs. He speaks with the polished, unflappable authority of an old newsreel, treating his jarred existence as no obstacle at all to statesmanship.

The joke is the mismatch: a solemn, historically weighty figure reduced to a bodiless novelty item, still delivering pronouncements as if from the Oval Office. Maurice LaMarche plays it dead straight, mimicking FDR's actual radio cadence, and that sincerity is what makes the absurdity land instead of just sitting there.
