Frank Hvam

Frank plays a fictionalized version of himself: a mild, anxious man forever trying to be decent and failing spectacularly. He worries about being a good father and partner, frets over what others think of him, and gets talked into terrible schemes by his best friend Casper, usually against his own better judgment.

The joke is that Frank actually means well, which makes his humiliations sting rather than just land. Hvam plays himself with a hangdog sincerity that never winks at the camera, so the cringe comes from watching a genuinely conflict-averse man get steamrolled by his own cowardice, again and again.
