Forty Quinn

Forty is Love's twin brother, a trust-fund screenwriter in LA circling sobriety and a script he's convinced will be his comeback. He's manic, funny, generous with other people's money, and desperate to matter creatively. He latches onto Joe as a collaborator, oblivious to how much he's revealing and how little he's being told.

James Scully plays Forty as a live wire — equal parts wounded and exhausting, never quite landing where you expect. The show uses his chaotic energy for comic relief and dramatic irony at once, since his half-baked screenplay theories keep accidentally brushing against the actual truth. He's the funniest unstable person in the room.
