Florida Andrew

This is a sideways version of Andrew Glouberman, Big Mouth's usual bundle of nerves and hormonal panic, reimagined with a Florida Man twist. The recognizable anxiety and self-loathing are still there, but they curdle into something looser, cruder, and more unhinged, as if puberty had been left out in the heat too long.

John Mulaney's voice is so tightly tied to Andrew's neurotic cadence that hearing it slip into swampy, lawless bravado is instantly funny. The joke works because the show trusts the audience to know the real Andrew cold, then delights in watching that familiar anxious engine rerouted into pure chaotic id.
