Fernando Alves

Fernando Alves is a quiet, watchful presence on the edges of a wealthy private-school world he doesn't quite belong to, married to the striking artist Elena Alves and father to a boy who attends the same elite institution as the story's central family. He keeps his distance, saying little, until tragedy pulls him into the center of everyone's attention.

Ismael Cruz Córdova plays Fernando with a coiled stillness that makes him impossible to read, letting the audience project guilt, grief, or innocence onto him depending on the episode. The show uses him as a mirror for its wealthy characters' assumptions, and Córdova never tips his hand about which one is right.
