Female Thurbanian

A background alien of the Thurbanian species, glimpsed in the crowded, gag-a-second universe of Futurama. She exists mostly to fill out the show's endless catalogue of strange life forms, appearing briefly rather than driving any plot of her own, one more odd face in a galaxy built from throwaway jokes.

The pleasure here is Tress MacNeille's range rather than any arc: she gives even a passing alien a distinct voice and comic texture, part of what makes Futurama's world feel dense and lived-in. Characters like this work because the show trusts small, specific choices to make a universe feel infinite.
