Evil Morty

He first turns up as one face in a crowd of near-identical Mortys at a Council gathering, distinguished only by an eyepatch and an unnerving stillness. While every other Morty fidgets and whines, this one watches, says little, and seems to already understand the room better than the Ricks running it.

The show usually plays Mortys as interchangeable, disposable comic relief, so a single quiet, composed one immediately reads as wrong in a way that's hard to name. Roiland and Belden underplay him against the franchise's usual chaos, letting silence and a flat stare do the unsettling work that shouting never could.
