Erlich Bachman

Erlich Bachman is a loudmouth failed entrepreneur who runs an incubator out of his own house, having traded a stake in Pied Piper for letting its founders live there. He talks constantly, mostly about his own genius, dispenses unsolicited business wisdom, and treats bravado as a substitute for actual accomplishment.

The joke is the gap between his self-image and his record: one modest exit years ago has convinced him he's a visionary, and every scene lets him perform confidence he hasn't earned. T.J. Miller plays the bluster with real comic commitment, turning a blowhard roommate into the show's most reliable source of profane, overconfident nonsense.
