Eric O'Bannon

Eric O'Bannon runs boat charters out of the Florida Keys, a local fixture with an easy tan and an easier smile. He's an old friend of the Rayburn family, especially Danny, and seems to have settled into a quieter life. But the past he shares with them isn't as far behind him as it looks.

Jamie McShane plays Eric with a sun-warmed calm that never quite covers the wariness underneath, a man who has learned to look relaxed as a survival skill. The show uses him as a measuring stick for how much the Rayburns' golden reputation depends on other people staying quiet.
