Erastes Fulmen

Erastes Fulmen runs one of the Aventine collegia, a hard-eyed boss who has built his standing in Rome's back streets through muscle and menace rather than any noble name. He guards his turf and his authority jealously, and he does not welcome newcomers looking to take either.

Lorcan Cranitch plays him with a coiled, streetwise menace that fits Rome's insistence that power in the city was won in alleys as much as in the Senate. He's a small but vivid piece of the show's texture: a reminder that ambition in this world isn't only senatorial.
