Emotitron Jr.

Emotitron Jr. in Futurama (1999), played by Tress MacNeille.

Emotitron Jr. turns up as one of the countless one-scene inventions that pepper Futurama's universe — a name dropped into the background chatter of New New York rather than a figure the plot lingers on. Whatever role it plays, it arrives fully formed and vanishes just as fast, in the show's usual deadpan style.

Tress MacNeille is one of the show's great utility players, and even a blink-and-miss-it part like this benefits from her instinct for comic voicing — finding a texture or inflection that makes a passing joke land harder than the script alone would manage. It's the kind of small, confident work that keeps Futurama's margins as funny as its center.

Emotitron, Jr. is a robot actor who auditions for the role of Antonio Calculon, Jr. in All My Circuits. He has hanging wires inside his body which his Mombot disapproves of. He looks similar to Tinny Tim except that both of his legs are robotic.
