Elaida do Avriny a'Roihan

Elaida is an Aes Sedai whose certainty never wavers—she knows what the Wheel demands and considers herself its instrument. Sharp-tongued and politically shrewd, she moves through the Tower's hierarchies with open ambition, suspicious of the Dragon Reborn and impatient with anyone she judges too soft or too slow to see the danger plainly in front of them.

Aghdashloo plays conviction as its own kind of menace: no raised voice, no theatrics, just an unblinking belief that she alone reads the pattern correctly. That stillness makes Elaida genuinely dangerous rather than merely obstructive—a zealot who would call herself a realist, and the story lets both readings sit uncomfortably true at once.
