Ekubo

Ekubo is a small, round spirit Mob crosses paths with early on, a self-declared handsome ghost whose actual appearance is anything but. Vain, chatty, and utterly unbothered by how ridiculous he looks, he attaches himself to Mob's orbit and refuses to be shooed away, treating the encounter as the start of a beautiful friendship.

The joke is built into the design: a blobby little spirit insisting, with total sincerity, that he's gorgeous. Akio Ohtsuka's gravelly, world-weary voice—so at odds with something so small and silly—makes the bravado land every time, turning a one-note gag into a character you're oddly glad keeps showing up.
