Edward Elric

Barely fifteen and already a State Alchemist, Edward Elric travels the country with his armored brother Alphonse, chasing rumors of the Philosopher's Stone. He lost an arm and a leg to a forbidden alchemy experiment gone wrong, and he wants nothing more than to restore both their bodies. He is brilliant, prickly, and furious if you mention his height.

Romi Park's performance finds the child underneath the swagger — a voice that can snap from cocky lecture to genuine terror in a breath. The writing never lets his brilliance excuse his recklessness; every triumph costs him something. He works because his bravado is so clearly armor over guilt he refuses to name aloud.
