Eddie Walzer

Eddie Walzer runs the hospital pharmacy at All Saints, and he runs it, in part, for Jackie Peyton. He supplies the pills that keep her upright through her shifts, and he does it with an easy, flirtatious familiarity that suggests this arrangement is neither new nor simple. He's charming, watchful, and clearly more invested in her than a dealer should be.

Paul Schulze plays Eddie without a trace of villainy, which is what makes him unsettling — he's warm, funny, genuinely fond of Jackie, and that affection is precisely what enables her addiction to keep running smoothly. The show lets him be a nice guy and a real problem simultaneously, and Schulze never tips the balance either way.
