Dumblock

Dumblock appears as a minor official in Futurama's sprawling world of bureaucrats and background weirdos, the kind of face that pops up to deliver a ruling, a rule, or a bit of nonsense logic before vanishing back into the crowd. He is brisk, self-assured, and entirely unbothered by how little sense he makes.

He works because Maurice LaMarche can make even a one-scene functionary sound like he's run the place for decades. The joke isn't the character's depth but his certainty — a small, forgettable cog delivered with the full gravity of someone who believes he matters, which is very much the show's comic wheelhouse.
