Dr. Tenderman

Dr. Tenderman turns up in Futurama's sprawling cast of one-off professionals, a doctor whose bedside manner is exactly as deadpan and mercenary as everyone else's in the 31st century. He appears exactly as long as the plot needs a diagnosis, dispenses it with total confidence, and moves on without much concern for the patient's feelings.

David Herman, already juggling several other Futurama voices, gives Tenderman the same flat, faintly bored authority he brings to his other characters, which is the joke: competence delivered with zero warmth. He's a small piece of the show's running gag that the future is staffed entirely by people who have stopped caring, and he sells it in just a few lines.
