Dr. Guyot

Dr. Guyot is an elderly retired physician who appears as a quiet fixture in Harry Bosch's life, someone Harry visits and confides in rather than a figure embedded in the case-of-the-week machinery. He listens more than he speaks, carries an old-fashioned courtliness, and seems to know Harry from long before the badge.

Scott Wilson brings the same unhurried, lived-in gravity he gave Hershel on The Walking Dead — a stillness that makes every scene slow down around him. The show uses him sparingly, so his presence reads as ballast: proof that Bosch has a history and people who knew him before he became who he is.
