Dr. Fitch Cooper

Dr. Fitch Cooper arrives at All Saints as a slick, ambitious ER attending, more concerned with reputation and hospital politics than bedside manner. Handsome and self-assured, he clashes with Jackie's unorthodox methods, seeing himself as the department's rising star while remaining oblivious to how little his colleagues actually respect him.

Facinelli plays vanity as comedy without ever tipping into cartoon, letting Coop's insecurity peek through his swagger just enough to make him pitiable rather than purely obnoxious. The writing uses him as the hospital's status-obsessed id, and his flailing attempts at authority become a running joke that somehow never curdles into contempt.
