Donna Meagle

Donna Meagle works the front desk of Pawnee's Parks Department, doing as little of the actual job as she can get away with. She drives a Mercedes she calls Le Whoop Whoop, dresses like money, and treats herself often and without apology. Unbothered by office chaos, she watches it with dry amusement.

The writing lets Donna exist entirely on her own terms — she wants nothing from these people, which makes her commentary on them land harder. Retta plays that detachment with perfect comic economy: a look, a one-liner, zero wasted effort, and somehow more control of any room than anyone actually trying to run it.
