Dinah Rutledge

Dinah works the front desk of Susie Myerson's management office, answering phones and fielding the general chaos that follows her boss around. She's sharp-tongued and unflappable, treating the parade of comedians and crises with a dry, seen-it-all patience that suggests she's smarter than the job she's been handed.

Alfie Fuller plays Dinah as the calmest person in every room she's in, which is its own kind of comedy against Susie's perpetual sputtering. She gets fewer lines than the leads but lands nearly all of them, turning a supporting desk job into a running commentary on the absurdity of show business.
