Dick Cheney's Head

A disembodied head kept in a jar in the year 3000, wheeled out on the show as a relic of ancient politics. It speaks with cold, calculating menace, forever scheming for power and oil despite having no body left to enjoy either. Ambition survives; everything else has withered away.

The joke is structural: reduce a famously unreadable political operator to a literal talking head and let the writers keep the menace while stripping away all human context. Billy West plays it flat and grave, never mugging, which makes the absurd premise land as satire rather than mere gag.
