David Aceveda

David Aceveda runs the Farmington district's Barn as its captain, a job he treats as a rung on a ladder rather than a calling. Polished, careful with the press, and quietly ambitious, he wants to clean up the precinct's image while positioning himself for higher office. He watches Vic Mackey's Strike Team with open suspicion.

Martinez plays ambition as something almost admirable until you watch it curdle under pressure — Aceveda genuinely believes he's the adult in the room, which makes his compromises sting more than outright corruption would. The show uses him as a mirror for Vic: same hunger for control, opposite toolkit, and Martinez never lets you settle on which man is worse.
