Daryl

Daryl is one of the DEA men circling the edges of the Guadalajara operation, a company agent doing the unglamorous legwork of building a case against the men running Mexico's drug trade. He listens more than he talks, follows orders, and treats the job as procedure rather than crusade.

Matt Biedel plays him with a low, watchful stillness that suits a show built on bureaucracy as much as bloodshed — he's convincing as a guy who has learned that showing too much is how careers and lives end. It's a performance of restraint that makes the character feel like a real cog in a real machine.
