Darth Stroyer turns up as one of the countless one-scene oddities populating Futurama's future New New York — a name that announces itself as a joke before he's said a word, clearly built for a quick sci-fi parody bit rather than any ongoing role. He appears, does his business, and the show moves on.

The character exists for the pun of his name and whatever brief sight gag surrounds it, which is very much the Futurama house style of stuffing background jokes into every frame. Phil LaMarr, one of the show's most reliable utility voices, gives him just enough commitment to land the joke and vanish.
