One half of a pair of near-silent brothers introduced by their sibling Larry with the deadpan line, "and this is my other brother Darryl." He and his brother work odd jobs around the Stratford Inn, rarely speak, and communicate mostly through flat stares and identical flannel shirts.

The joke is structural: he almost never gets a line, so every rare word or twitch of expression becomes an event. Tony Papenfuss plays him with total commitment to blankness, never winking at the audience, which is exactly why the running gag never wears out across the show's run.
