Darlene

Darlene turns up as one of the many odd faces populating New New York, a small voice in the crowd rather than a driver of the plot. She reacts to the chaos around her with the deadpan absurdity typical of the show's background world, present for a beat, then gone, never explained beyond the moment.

Tress MacNeille, one of Futurama's great utility voices, gives Darlene just enough personality to land a joke and vanish, which is its own skill. The character works because the show trusts a single throwaway line delivered with total conviction to be funnier than any amount of explanation.
