Danny

Danny is part of the production crew working the Big Brother house on eviction night, a young runner caught up in the chaos backstage as the outside world starts to unravel. He's practical and quick on his feet, more concerned with keeping things running than with the mounting dread everyone else is starting to feel.

Elyes Gabel brings an unshowy, grounded energy to the crew's-eye view of the apocalypse, playing Danny as someone whose competence and calm become genuinely useful once the show's satire tips into horror. He's a small, human anchor in Charlie Brooker's gleeful teardown of reality television, and Gabel makes his ordinariness count.
