Danielle Chase

Danielle Chase is Angela's little sister, forever hovering at the edges of the Chase household's teenage drama. She's sharp-eyed, a little starved for attention, and quick to tattle or needle when she feels ignored. Still in grade school, she wants to be taken seriously by a family that mostly treats her as background noise.

The show could easily have made her a one-note pest, but Lisa Wilhoit plays Danielle with real watchfulness—she notices everything happening in the house even when nobody thinks she does. That quiet perceptiveness gives the Chase family scenes an extra layer, a younger kid absorbing the same emotional chaos as her more articulate sister.
