Danger Mouse

Danger Mouse is the world's greatest secret agent, and no one is more aware of it than he is. Sleekly one-eyed, based in a London postbox with his bumbling sidekick Penfold, he takes on Colonel K's missions and megalomaniacal villains with the unbothered cool of someone who has never once doubted his own brilliance.

David Jason plays him with a plummy, self-satisfied deadpan that turns every crisis into a mild inconvenience for a very small, very smug rodent. The joke is never that he might fail — it's that he genuinely can't imagine it, and the show's absurdity bounces off his unshakeable, dapper composure.
