Damian Desmond

Damian is a student at Eden Academy, the son of a powerful and secretive figure, and used to being treated accordingly. He is proud, quick-tempered, and openly contemptuous of the strange new girl who can't seem to do anything right, though his bluster covers a boy still figuring out how to want things.

He starts as the obvious brat, all sneers and stomping tantrums, but the writing keeps letting his composure crack in funnier and more human ways than expected. Fujiwara plays the outrage completely straight, which is exactly what makes his slow, mortified thaw toward Anya so satisfying to watch build.
