Cromulons

A colossal alien head materializes over the planet with three others of its kind, demanding humanity "show me what you got" or face annihilation. The Cromulons speak in booming, imperious tones, apparently unimpressed by anything short of spectacle, and their arrival instantly upends daily life into forced, high-stakes performance.

They're absurdity taken to cosmic scale — deities who just want a good show, rendered with the deadpan grandiosity only this series would attempt. Roiland's vocal delivery keeps them pompous and faintly bored, which makes the sheer scale of the threat land as comedy rather than dread, a tonal trick the show pulls off effortlessly.
