Crewman

A background member of the Planet Express crew's orbit, the Crewman is one of the many nameless faces who populate the ships, bars, and corridors of Futurama's universe. He does his job, says his line, and moves the plot along without ever asking for the spotlight.

John DiMaggio's voice work fills in the edges of this world as generously as its center, and a role this small still gets the same gruff, lived-in texture he brings to Bender. It's a reminder that Futurama's universe feels dense because even its throwaway men have a voice behind them.
