Cpl. Josh Ray Person

Person drives the lead Humvee for Bravo Second Platoon's assault team, and he never stops talking. Wired, funny, and a little unhinged, he fires off pop-culture riffs, conspiracy theories, and running commentary from behind the wheel, filling every silence in the invasion with noise while his team-leader Colbert tries to get a word in.

Ransone plays Person as pure motormouth momentum, and the writing uses him as the show's release valve — his chatter is where the absurdity of the war leaks out, funny and unsettling in the same breath. He never stops performing for the guys in his truck, which makes the moments he goes quiet land that much harder.
