Cpl. Gabe Garza is one of the Recon Marines rolling into Iraq at the front of the invasion, a steady presence inside the Humvee doing his job without complaint. He is professional, watchful, and unshowy — the kind of Marine who keeps the vehicle running and the mission moving while louder personalities argue around him.

Generation Kill thrives on its ensemble, and Garza is part of what makes that ensemble feel like a real unit rather than a collection of archetypes. Rey Valentin plays him with quiet competence, letting the character's steadiness register as its own kind of characterization amid the show's chaos and dark humor.
