Cosimo Ruggeri is the soothsayer and self-styled magician who has attached himself to Catherine de Medici's court, trading in prophecy, poison-lore, and secrets rather than titles. He speaks in riddles, watches everything, and seems to answer to no one but Catherine herself, offering counsel that is equal parts protection and manipulation.

Enzo Cilenti plays him with a stillness that makes every line feel weighted, as though he already knows how the scene ends. The writing keeps his loyalties genuinely ambiguous — is he mystic, con man, or the one person telling Catherine the truth? — and Cilenti never tips the balance, which is exactly why you keep watching him.
