Constantin

Constantin is a lord with a crown of his own ambitions, circling the fractured politics of England's kingdoms with an eye for advantage. He speaks softly, weighs every alliance for what it can yield him, and treats loyalty as a currency rather than a virtue — a man who wants power and is patient enough to wait for the right moment to take it.

Rod Hallett plays him with a courtier's calm that never quite hides the calculation underneath, so every polite exchange feels like a negotiation. The show doesn't need him to shout to be dangerous; his stillness is the threat, and that restraint makes him a compelling foil to the more openly violent men fighting for the same throne.
