Conspiracy Nut

Conspiracy Nut is a minor recurring figure in the Futurama crowd, a wild-eyed rambler who pops up wherever there's a public gathering to shout about hidden agendas and secret plots. He's given to unhinged pronouncements, half of which the show later confirms are true, and he clearly delights in being ignored.

He's a one-joke background character elevated by timing: the writers use him as a punchline machine, dropping his outbursts into scenes for a quick jolt of absurdity, and John DiMaggio's gravelly, unhinged delivery sells every line as dead serious. The running gag of his paranoia occasionally being right is what keeps him funny rather than forgettable.
