Colum MacKenzie

Colum MacKenzie is the Laird of Clan MacKenzie, ruling from Castle Leoch despite a wasting illness that has left him unable to walk unaided. He is shrewd, formal, and courteous to Claire when she arrives among his people, but his hospitality comes wrapped in careful questions — he wants to know exactly who this stranger is and what she means for his clan.

Gary Lewis makes stillness dangerous.
