Cliff McCormack

Cliff McCormack is Neptune's most reliably rumpled defense attorney, a public defender who treats the law with a shrug and a joke rather than reverence. He turns up wherever Veronica or Keith need cheap legal muscle, trading favors and wisecracks, more interested in surviving the system than reforming it.

Daran Norris plays Cliff as comic relief who's secretly the most clear-eyed adult in the room, delivering gallows humor about Neptune's corruption with the weary charm of someone who's seen every trick in the book. He's a pressure valve in a dark show, and the writing trusts him to be funny without ever making him a fool.
