Clark Thompson

Clark Thompson is a corporate consultant and old friend of the actor Arthur Leander, flying to mourn him when the world falls apart mid-journey. Dry, watchful, a little vain about his own competence, he becomes one of the strangers stranded together at an airport, trying to figure out what comes next.

David Wilmot gives Clark a brittle, funny self-regard that slowly cracks into something tender as he takes on responsibility for people he never chose. The show lets him become an unlikely custodian of memory and meaning, and Wilmot plays that shift so gradually you don't notice him becoming essential until he already is.
