Clark DeBussy

Clark DeBussy is an agent of Division 3, the shadowy government outfit that scoops up David Haller for questioning. He is calm, precise, and unnervingly patient, running interrogations like a man filling out paperwork. He wants answers about David's abilities, and he does not raise his voice to get them.

Hamish Linklater plays him with a flat, courteous menace — all soft consonants and unhurried pauses — that makes Clark scarier than any shouting interrogator could be. Legion is a show about unstable minds and chaotic visuals, and Clark's dry, buttoned-up stillness becomes its own kind of unsettling, a bureaucrat who never once seems out of control.
