Preserved in a jar at Head Museum along with countless other celebrities of the past, Clarence Thomas's Head is one of the many disembodied talking heads populating the 31st century of Futurama. He turns up in the background of the show's future New New York, a relic of 20th- and 21st-century fame bobbing in his tank.

The joke of Futurama's head-in-a-jar gallery is its sheer promiscuous democracy — anyone famous enough gets preserved, regardless of stature, so a Supreme Court justice's head floats alongside pop stars and cartoon mascots. Phil LaMarr's voice work across these bit parts gives even a one-line jar its own dry, deadpan personality.
