A minor figure glimpsed in the sprawl of New New York, the Cigar Salesman peddles his wares with the brisk, unbothered patter of someone who has seen every kind of customer the 31st century can produce. He wants a sale, nothing more, and treats the strangeness around him as simply Tuesday.

Futurama's world runs on exactly this kind of throwaway professional, someone with a whole implied life crammed into a single scene, and Phil LaMarr gives him just enough clipped, salesman-smooth confidence to feel like a real fixture of the city rather than a joke prop. It's a small, precise bit of vocal shading that rewards attention.
