Christine

Christine is a young woman living under the protection of the man called Holy Wayne, visibly pregnant and kept close to him, guarded by his followers. She says little, watches carefully, and gives away almost nothing about what she believes or wants — a presence more than a participant in the scenes around her.

The show withholds Christine deliberately, and Annie Q. plays that withholding as intelligence rather than blankness — she's clearly tracking everything said around her while giving the room nothing back. That quiet becomes the character's power: in a show obsessed with faith and manipulation, she's the one person whose inner life stays genuinely unreadable.
