Chris Brody

Chris Brody is the younger child of Nicholas Brody, a Marine long presumed dead who has just come home to a family that barely remembers how to live with him. Chris is quiet and watchful, caught between relief at having a father again and confusion about the stranger who has returned in his place.

The show uses Chris less for incident than for atmosphere — he's the barometer of a household under quiet strain, and Jackson Pace plays him with an unforced, unshowy naturalism that never overreaches for a child actor's big moment. His stillness says more about the Brody family's unease than any adult's dialogue could.
